The basis of the module is a version of the transisitor ladder with low-end compensation at resonance, to which we added aggressive Overload and linear VCA. Thanks to three audio inputs, FILTH can work with polyphonic patches, if we add Trilobite (or another triple osc) and ADSR to it, we will get a paraphonic synthesizer. 2 VCA inputs in the classic case allow you to use loudness envelope and voltage offset (for example, velocity) at the same time, but there are many more options for their application.

Works in LP/HP and 12/24 db modes

In the 24db mode, the filter self-oscillates and can act as a sine generator with perfect pitch tracking in the range of 5 octaves.

Despite the name, without overload, the module can be used as a vanilla filter, but these days we prefer its brutal version.

Based on “transistor ladder” design of Minimoog 204D with a cut-off slope of -24 db/octave as in various Moog synthesisers.
